Seed & Seed Treatments

Seed

Alliance Ag & Grain sells and supports some of the best crop seed on the market, including crops like corn, soybeans, wheat, milo, cotton, alfalfa and forage grasses. We are proud to offer the following seed brand portfolios; call your local agronomy sales representative for more information.

Seed Treatments

It’s important to protect your investment after selecting the right seed for your fields. We take great pride in our seed treatment capabilities at Alliance Ag & Grain. With one permanent seed treatment system and two mobile seed treaters, we believe we offer the most accurate and professional seed treating opportunities available. We offer a full line of premier seed treatment products to protect against early season disease and insect pressure.

One of our leading seed treatment products is Preside CL® soybean inoculant, which brings more nitrogen (N) into the plant by adding additional nodules and making more efficient use of supplied N. To accelerate nutrient acquisition and assimilation for healthier plants and greater yield potential, it pairs a powerful soybean inoculant along with Take Off® technology. This combination improves soybeans’ ability to emerge, establish a stand and effectively utilize the increased N levels the Preside CL supplies. Click here to learn more about Preside CL®

Thanks to our closed-loop seed treatment equipment, we can even protect your crops from nematode pressure with NemaStrike technology. Contact your local Alliance Ag & Grain agronomy sales representative to learn about our entire lineup of quality seed treatment products.

Precision Ag

The Alliance Ag & Grain agronomy team uses leading technology to provide you with accurate, cost-effective field prescriptions. We leverage the R7® Tool and Climate FieldView™ to store data and help farmers identify and better manage the acres that provide the best opportunity for increased profit potential. Both of these comprehensive precision farming solutions integrates soil and tissue sampling, satellite imagery mapping and harvest data to help create customized variable rate prescriptions for your farm.

We also utilize the Truterra Insights Engine, a framework from Land O’Lakes SUSTAIN that helps ensure that customized and scalable on-farm conservation solutions protect our natural resources and assist with yield and profitability, all while helping you qualify for payments from the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service’s Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP).
We also work with Verdesian Life Sciences to help our customers create their own Nutrient Use Efficiency (NUE™) Plan. This program enhances soil fertilizer efficiency and focuses on plant uptake and utilization by fertilizers that limit nutrient loss and improve crop yields and quality.

Truterra™ Insights Engine

The Truterra™ Insights Engine by Land O’Lakes SUSTAIN is a first-of-its-kind, interactive on-farm stewardship digital platform that helps farmers advance their goals for stewardship and financial return-on-investment in real time, acre-by-acre.

Designed first and foremost to be of value for farmers, the platform was created by a farmer-owned cooperative to be used by farmers, agricultural retailers and agricultural experts in their quest to help improve on-farm economic and natural resource stewardship.

It can bring together the value of stewardship practices with the agronomic expertise and technological capabilities of agricultural retailers to create field-customized insights for farmers. It also enables food companies to measure sustainability progress.

Nutrient Use Efficiency (NUE™) Program

Alliance Ag & Grain helps farmers with sustainable efficiency and profitability though nutrient use efficiency (NUE) solutions supported by Verdesian Life Sciences. These solutions enhance crop uptake, reduce nutrient losses to the environment and improve yields.

NutriSolutions® Tissue Analysis

Our agronomists can visit your farm at different points during the growing season to take plant tissue samples. NutriSolutions® tissue testing and analyses pinpoint nutrient deficiencies at critical growth stages so we can help farmers make adjustments before yield potential is compromised. We can also import tissue data results into the Climate FieldView™ and R7® Tool applications for a complete review of previous seasons to help you plan for next season.
